How do I Scan Catering? – Event Systems Help Center

Navigate to Catering → Locations. Confirm catering scan locations are entered and correct.
To enter the catering scan locations click Add Location.

(Note: Catering locations only need to be entered once)

Navigate to Catering → Item Redemption.
Select the scan location and meal.
- The scan location, meal, and scan statistics will display at the top of the page.

Credential Lookup
- Click Cred Search and enter the name.
- You can redeem directly from this screen. Select the cred then choose:
  - Redeem & Close – processes and closes the screen.
  - Redeem & Reset – processes and keeps the screen open for additional entries.
Portal Lookup/Manual Redemption
- Click Portal Lookup to search for any portal.
- View meal requests, approved items, and redeemed tickets.
- To manually redeem, enter the quantity and select:
  - Redeem & Close – processes and closes the screen.
  - Redeem & Reset – processes and keeps the screen open for additional entries.

The Item Redemption screen records all scans and manual redemptions for the selected meal.
To change the meal or scan location, click Change Meal.
