AMP provides a mechanism for changing the terminology on a resource. This allows you to customize a dictionary of terms that will be used to replace specific labels or phrases in the resource. These terms can be set at the resource level for all forms under the resource or at the form level for form specific terminology changes. Below are a few examples of how terminology changes can be used both for customizing the resource and for customizing the work flow of a resource.
Terminology Changes-Item/Items
In this example, terminology changes have been made for Item and Items at the Resource Level to display Meal/Meals. Item/Items terminology changes are done ONLY at the Resource Level. Once updated they will display on the resource where those terms are used and to the end user on the requests.

Terminology Changes- Group Requests Example
In this example, changes are made to terminology on a Group request type for the purpose of customizing the display for the end user. This specific Group Request Type is used to build the Artist Guest List form. This terminology change we will set at the Form Level.

Terminology Changes- Updated Workflow
In this example, terminology changes have been used to alter the workflow of the requests. This resource owner has chosen to use this terminology to create a "Review" process rather than an "Approval" process, preferring to send confirmations of approval at a later date outside of the system.
