How Do I Assign a Resource Form?

Setting your resource form to allow requests

To set your form to allow requests:

1. Navigate to the form.
2. Click on the configuration tab.
3. Configure the allow requests create toggle to "yes"
4. Configure the allow requests edit toggle to "yes"

5. Set your request deadline if applicable (more information on request deadlines can be found HERE )

    

   

    

Assigning a Form to All Portals Within an Advance Type

To assign a form to all portals under a specific Advance Type:

1. Navigate to the form you wish to assign.

2. Click on Portal Assignments, then select the desired Advance Type.

3. Configure the assignment settings as follows:

   • Show in Portal:

     • Toggle to Yes to display the form in all portals under the selected Advance Type.

     • Toggle to No to hide the form from all portals. (You may enable the form for specific portals later using the Portal-Specific Settings.)

   • Request Deadline:

     • Set a deadline to restrict the creation of new requests.

     • Requests already in draft status can still be submitted after the deadline.

   • Instructions:

     • Add any instructions relevant to the Advance Type.

   • Alternate Approvers:

     • Assign an alternate approver for this form across all portals in the Advance Type.

     • You may choose either a portal-level or resource-level approver.

Assigning a Form to Specific Portals Within an Advance Type

To assign a form to selected portals only:

1. Navigate to the form you wish to assign.

2. Click on Portal Assignments, then select the applicable Advance Type.

3. Scroll to Portal-Specific Settings and click "Add Portal".

4. Select the portal, and choose whether or not to show the form in that portal.

5. Once the portal has been added, you can:

   • Set a Request Deadline specific to that portal.

   • Assign an Alternate Approver for that portal and form.

Please Note

An approver must be set for the resource and/or resource form. AMP will NOT allow requests to be submitted if an approver is not set.
